Supplier Spotlight & Styling Inspiration
This weekend’s wedding for Amy and Sam at the stunning Irnham Hall was one of those rare and perfect October days, golden sunshine, crisp air, and a soft autumn light that made every detail glow.

A Venue Full of Character and Warmth
Set in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, Irnham Hall is a truly special venue. It's beautiful gardens, charming orangery, and historic architecture create a setting that feels grand yet deeply personal.
Owners Jamie and Leila Benton Jones are some of the most welcoming and accommodating people you could hope to meet. They bring a genuine warmth to the venue, and their team were a credit to them, friendly, professional, and quietly attentive throughout the day. It’s easy to see why so many couples fall in love with Irnham Hall, and why it’s such a joy for suppliers to return time and time again.
The outdoor ceremony took place in the Hall’s exquisite gardens, basking in unexpected October sunshine that made the setting even more magical.

The Floral Design
Amy and Sam envisioned a look that was classic, elegant, and timeless, perfectly in keeping with the venue and the season.
Their floral palette featured soft tones of green and ivory, brought to life with hydrangeas, roses, and dahlias, and accented with a subtle hint of lavender for a gentle touch of colour.
The ceremony was styled with a broken floral arch, two large gold pedestal arrangements, and a floral garland, designed to complement the natural beauty of the gardens while creating a romantic, graceful focal point.
Later in the day, all of these florals were repurposed into the orangery reception, the arch framing the top table beautifully, the pedestals adding height and balance, and the garland centered across the Top tablescape. It’s one of my favourite ways to maximise floral impact throughout the day while keeping the design cohesive and considered.
The Finishing Touch, Bespoke Stationery by Raspberry Rose Designs
To complete the look, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the incredibly talented Raspberry Rose Designs, who created all of the bespoke stationery for Amy and Sam’s day.
From the welcome sign and table plan to the menu cards and place settings, every detail was thoughtfully designed to mirror the floral palette and overall styling. The use of subtle green and lavender tones tied everything together seamlessly, creating a beautiful flow from ceremony to reception.
Stationery is one of those finishing touches that often gets overlooked, but it makes such a difference, it’s the thread that runs through your entire design story, bringing cohesion and refinement to every table and every guest experience.
A Tip for Autumn Brides
If you’re planning an autumn wedding, embrace the season’s soft light and golden warmth. Opt for textures and tones that feel timeless, ivory blooms, natural greenery, and subtle accents of muted colour. And consider florals that can transition easily between spaces, giving you the most from your investment without compromising on style.
A Culinary Highlight
Working alongside Black Peppermint Event Caterers was an absolute delight. Their team were professional, friendly, and the food… incredible! The aromas from the kitchen filled the orangery, and every dish looked like a piece of art, elegant, refined, and full of flavour.
It’s always a privilege to collaborate with suppliers who share the same level of care and attention to detail. Together, we created a day that felt effortlessly elegant from start to finish.
A huge thank you again to Jamie and Leila Benton Jones, the Irnham Hall team, and the wonderful crew at Black Peppermint for their professionalism and warmth. And of course, congratulations to Amy and Sam, your wedding was a true reflection of timeless elegance on the most perfect October’s day.
